Dr. Gila Beer has dedicated her career to giving her patients stunning smiles. A specialist in periodontics, she is experienced in providing comprehensive periodontal therapy as well as implant therapy and gum disease treatment. Dr. Beer is committed to helping her patients improve their oral health using the skills she has acquired from her impressive education and work experience.
Dr. Beer is well-educated with advanced degrees in her discipline. She graduated magna cum laude from Yeshiva University with her BA in Biology. She continued her academic career at Columbia University in the School of Dental and Oral Surgery. At Columbia, she received her master’s degree while serving as an AEGD fellow. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the same institution.
During her fellowship, she provided comprehensive dental care, including treatment planning, restorative, endodontic, and emergency services. At the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Beer acquired additional skills in their Postgraduate Periodontics Program. In this program, she spent four years researching the identification of silvery proteins that inhibit Streptococcus Mutans.
Dr. Beer is an accomplished periodontist with more than ten years of experience working in dentistry. As a dental associate, she regularly provides comprehensive periodontal therapy, including diagnosis, scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, free tissue grafting, implant placement, ridge augmentation, external and internal sinus elevation, guided tissue regeneration (GTR), and guided bone regeneration (GBR). Professionally, she is affiliated with the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Northeast Society of Periodontists.
