Dr. David Peto is a board-certified periodontist practicing in New Jersey and New York. He completed his dental education at Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Peto pursued additional hospital-based training at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center.
He attended the periodontics program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He became proficient in all aspects of periodontal surgery, including osseous surgery, extractions, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and gingival grafting.
In order to offer patients the most up-to-date treatment, he pursued training in LANAP, the minimally invasive laser gum surgery as an alternative to conventional gum surgery.
Dr. Peto prides himself on his conservative approach to patient care, and strives to provide evidence-based treatment to achieve the best outcomes. He is particularly excited by advances in digital implant surgery, which allow for accurate, safe, and ideal treatment for his patients. He believes in long-term planning for results that will last a lifetime.
